Awa In Chiba Shrine is a Shinto shrine located at Chiba prefecture in Kanto district. The shrine is dedicated to Amenofutodama no Mikoto ( the god of observances, ancestor of the Inbe clan ). It was listed in the Register of Deities of the Engishiki (the laws of the 10th-century Japan) , and was occupying the highest rank among the shrines of a province.
