Izanagi Shrine is a Shinto shrine located at Hyogo prefecture in Kinki district. The shrine is dedicated to Izanagi no Mikoto ( the god of life ). It was listed in the Register of Deities of the Engishiki (the laws of the 10th-century Japan) , and was occupying the highest rank among the shrines of a province.
