Kirishima Shrine is a Shinto shrine located at Kagoshima prefecture in Kyushu district. The shrine is dedicated to Ninigi no Mikoto ( the sun goddess Amaterasu's grandson who descended to earth ). It was listed in the Register of Deities of the Engishiki (the laws of the 10th-century Japan).
