Suwa Grand Shrine Harumiya is a Shinto shrine located at Nagano prefecture in Chubu district. The shrine is dedicated to Takeminakata no Mikoto ( the god of military?arts ). It was listed in the Register of Deities of the Engishiki (the laws of the 10th-century Japan) , and was occupying the highest rank among the shrines of a province.This shrine is famous for the?Manji?no Sekibutsu (Manji?Stone?Buddha)?.

Nihon Shoki

The Nihon Shoki (日本書紀), sometimes translated as The Chronicles of Japan, is the second oldest book of classical Japanese history. The book is also called the Nihongi (日本紀 lit. Japanese Chronicles).
